Nancy’s Personal Background

Nancy has an interesting background and brings a wealth of experience to the table. Born in Hong Kong, she and her family moved to Vancouver, Canada when she was five years old. From there, she spent her formative years and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and dietetics from the University of British Columbia. Her first career was as a Registered Dietitian, and she worked in Richmond Hospital in the greater Vancouver area. Later, in 1997, she moved to Los Angeles and worked for eight years at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center. During this time, she obtained her Masters of Business Administration degree at California State University Los Angeles. Her next step was to spend seven years in the wine business working as a wine buyer and later for a German wine importer. As of 2011, she entered the Real Estate industry, and has been a licensed Realtor since then. Nancy is also married to her husband Johan Deprez, a tax and business attorney, and together they enjoy travel, fine dining, wine, and being with family and friends. They have lived in Long Beach, California for over ten years.
