It’s that time again – time for our 3rd Breakfast and Learn Seminar in our 2021 Series!

On Saturday March 27, at 10:00 am, we will be hosting Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Attorney Paul Velasco of Velasco Law Group, expert in creating and administering trusts and doing estate planning for people like you and I who want to protect our assets and plan ahead for our future and the future of our heirs.

This is a seminar not to be missed! We have had Paul Velasco in person for our group in the past, and the audience learned a inordinate amount of valuable information about this important topic. Now we have Paul back for an immersive look at what it means to have a trust in place, put our real estate in the trust, avoid some of the pitfalls of inadequate estate planning.

Paul will discuss the basics of estate planning and why it is so important to get it right. His presentation will focus on the most common estate planning mistakes made by individuals and families and the costly problems and disputes that they lead to. In his trust litigation practice, Paul represents successor trustees and beneficiaries involved in disputes or other court proceedings that very often are the result of mistakes, omissions and/or bad planning by attorneys, paralegals or other professionals involved in the estate planning process, or by people who drafted their own documents using Legal Zoom or other online programs. Paul will discuss many of the cases that he deals with on a daily basis and show how proper planning can avoid or minimize family disputes and ensure the decedent’s final wishes are carried out.

He is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law and lectures extensively on trust and estate planning matters for wealth management advisors, corporate trustees, real estate professionals and other professional groups.
